BriefNotes is a memory system for small field-service businesses. It turns voice notes, typed notes and photos from the workday into organised records, tasks, materials, reminders and timelines on the right job - so promises and follow-ups don't get lost.

About

Work information rarely arrives in a neat format. It starts as a voice note after a site visit, a photo from the job, a document from a customer, or a quick thought written between tasks. BriefNotes brings those inputs together and turns them into organised, searchable company memory, so promises, materials and follow-ups don't get lost between the job site and the invoice.

BriefNotes is built for small field-service businesses such as electricians, plumbers, painters, HVAC technicians and renovation crews. Teams keep jobs, projects, customers, contacts, notes, tasks, reminders and schedules in one shared workspace, in the mobile app and on the web. BriefNotes works out which job each note belongs to. It pulls out the important details, suggests changes, writes summaries and answers questions, while people stay in control of what is added or changed.

BriefNotes on the Web

Sign in on the web with the same account to see your dashboard, jobs, notes, Ask, team and settings from a computer. You can sign in with email and password, Google or Apple.

Languages

BriefNotes is available in English and Swedish, and understands notes written or spoken in either language.

Plans

Standard Plans

Standard plans are available for teams of 1–10 members, starting with a free trial. Usage allowances for voice minutes, text notes, note edits, imports and questions are shared across the organisation and grow with each member included in the plan.

Custom Plans

Organisations requiring more than 10 members can request a custom plan.

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play using RevenueCat.

Privacy

BriefNotes does not show ads and does not sell user data. BriefNotes uses Supabase for account, workspace and private-file storage, with each organisation's data kept separate. Selected voice recordings, note text and extracted document text may be processed by OpenAI for transcription, organisation, summaries, search and answers, only to run the features you use. Photos are stored securely but are not currently analysed by AI.

The BriefNotes app does not include any advertising SDK or any dedicated analytics or crash-reporting SDK. See the full privacy policy for details about data processing, permissions, third parties and deletion.

Data Export & Account Deletion

Users can export organisation data and request account deletion from within the app. Organisation owners can delete their organisation's records and stored files through the server-side deletion process.

When a non-owner deletes their account or is removed, their access and personal account information are removed and their open tasks are unassigned. Notes, completed work and historical attribution may remain as business records belonging to the organisation.

Deleting a BriefNotes account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through the applicable store.
